Trees besides the Khatib MRT station. Trees are beautiful creation of God always!

Street Photography in the City

I went to do some street photography with Eric today! We had a great day and also nice time to meet up after so many months didn't catch up with each other. It's so good to maintain great friendship from 1997 since army days. :)

Play-Doh Fun Factory Spin 'n Store

We bought Play-Doh for my friend's 3 year-old child's birthday on 26 Nov 2011. At first, we wanted to buy him the drum set but think it will drive the parents up the wall with the noise generated by him! Ha.

Called Home to be with our Lord

I received an email from HQ that RL was called home to be with the LORD at 720pm today. I was shocked as I didn't expect it to come so fast. Still remember the days when he told us he had cancer from USA, how he shared with us his experience of stopping his studies and flew back to Singapore for treatments. Then we met up our Science CVCF fellowship and also in a cafe in Red Dot. And all the episodes of emails he sent us, updating us of his chemo, his feelings and thoughts.

I love seafood

I love seafood. Any seafood from squid, crab to fish!

I took a few photos of the seafood section at Cold Storage.

The Asian Kitchen in Ion Orchard

MJ and I went to Ion Orchard. We haven't met for years! So nice to catch up with him again. :)

We ate at the Asian Kitchen as I don't find anything I like in Ginza Bairin.

The food in Asian Kitchen is quite nice.

I took a few photos with my iPhone 4.

I also bought my favourite Japanese mushroom tea at Nippon-Ya. But this is a different packaging.

Potato Shoots

After so many months, I found that the shoots from the potato had grown so long. But the potato has dried up and withered.

Pig stomach soup

I ate this pig stomach soup and found that it is more peppery than I expected and I was having a slight sore throat. But later when I was home, I discovered that the soup didn't worsen my throat :)

Philips GC4490 Iron

We changed to this new Philips iron as our current iron is blackened (see below). We have used it for at least 7 years. Well, it's time to change. :)

Crystal Jade at Nex

As I have slight sore throat and ulcer, we ate at Crystal Jade so that I can eat the porridge.

We tried this Australia flat fish which is nice!

The tofu is equally good.

Sunset

Sunset at Sengkang West. Can you see the tiny bird? I love the silhouette of the trees.

Thank to God for my Food

Looking through my blog, I found that most of the photos are of food! I am thankful to God for His grace that I have access to delicious food and still have the ability to eat and enjoy my food. These 2 items are not to be taken granted of and I should be thankful daily for them. :)

I have a tendency to be picky on food. I think this is something I must learn to overcome. :)

Kyo-Nichi Ramen at China Square

As our office "Food Manager" is back, we have chance to get recommendation on nice food around our office! We went to this Kyo-Nichi ramen at China Square.

Interesting to eat ramen with fork...

As ramen is not my cup of tea, I chose udon. Quite nice but I prefer it to be slightly less salty.

I also ordered a Japanese steamed egg (chawamushi) as I think the udon is not enough to fill my tummy.

Slow Count to Christmas

A slow count to Christmas...

Koi opens in Sengkang Compasspoint Shopping mall

Koi is opened in Sengkang Compasspoint shopping mall! Very long queue! :)

Gundam Fair at Sengkang

It seems that I often see Gundam toy fair at Sengkang Compasspoint Mall. Think it's festive season again! Got to tell my friend about it.

Another rainy day :(

These few weeks seem to be raining non-stop. We were planning to jog yesterday and today. But it rained super heavily in Sengkang.

Because of the rains, snails were coming out.

Instead of jogging, our plan B was to walk up the stairs to our flat. Well, not much exercise though. But we felt exhausted after the climb. Think stair-climbing can be our training plan too! I am already walking up MRT stairs whenever I go to work daily and going to church.

Kenny Roger

I found that every time I had my meal, besides saying grace, I would love to take picture of my food using my iPhone 4. :)

We had Kenny Roger at Suntec.
