Hungry Ghost Festival starts! During this month, ghosts are believed to be released from hell and believers give offerings by burning the incense papers. 

Candles, sweets, melon seeds and tea were also offered by the road side.

Google wants to Increase local storage on iPhone

Did anyone see this pop-up message box "Increase local storage: Do you want to allow the website m.google.com to use up to 10 MB of storage on your iPhone?"

Famous Crispy Curry Puff

Working in city area has a lot of nice food. This curry puff is extremely nice. It's called Famous Crispy Curry Puff at Amoy street food centre.

Vietnamese Beef Noodl

I usually do not like Vietnamese food. But this Vietnamese beef noodle is very nice! The beef is just briefly boiled in hot soup. I will definitely try it again.

I tried out this out this clear Thai tomyam soup at another stall. I found that I prefer the thicker one at the other stall. 

Catering for Last SMM

It was my first time today catering food for large group of people. And it happened that today was my last duty at SMM. The good thing about SMM is that I am able to learn lots of the organisation's operation, know who's who and train up my multi-tasking skill. Hee. 

Polar Bear at Nex

Who have seen this polar bear at Nex shopping mall? Since as I live near Nex, it is always my stop over to go dinner with my dear. Whenever I am there, I will surely see people taking pictures with this polar bear. If I start a photo gallery to collect all the photos of people with this polar bear, I think I can easily filled up the gallery with thousands of photos!

Jagabee potato chip

Since we couldn't find the plastic pack anywhere in Singapore, we bought the paper cup version. It is on special offer if I buy 2 cups. It has very strong potato taste. Nice!

Chair

I was lying on my bed when I suddenly noticed this scene where our safari soaked in a weak beam of light. This light created a nice gradient shade. As we do not have many furniture, it also gave a minimalist feel.

Pig's tail noodle

It had been a long time since I ate pig's tail. I tried this pig's tail noodle, the same stall as the prawn noodle. A bit too salty for me though. I still prefer the prawn noodle.

Mission Control and Expose

I like Lion OS X Mission Control as it contains everything from desktops, apps and dashboard; switching between desktops is much easier than Spaces. However, for switching apps, it groups similar items together and these similar items overlapped each other. Look at Pixelmator, I don't know what's behind the chilli photos. Previously, I can tile out all my photos unblocked.

Hong Kee beef noodle

This Hong Kee beef noodle is one of the recommended stalls in Amoy street hawker centre. Look at the list my dear wrote in my iPhone's notepad. I have finally eaten one! :P

Mac OS X Lion

I love the two-finger scroll to next and previous page in Safari, Mission Control (the application switcher), the scrolling is natural like iPhone style and the speed is very fast.  Scrolling and navigation is so natural on the trackpad now that I find it much better than Magic Mouse's multi-touch. Surfing on Safari is now so much better than I am thinking switching from Google Chrome back to Safari.

City Square Mall

Ever since my wife and I left the Depot Road office, we hadn't been to City Square Mall. We used to visit this mall often after work as it was on the way home.

We like this mall as it is a nice place to eat and shop.

I love to eat grilled salmon skin.

Tuna sushi is one of my favorites.

Downloading Lion OS X

Downloading 3.49GB Lion OS X at 8.24PM. The download took me 2 hours and the installation was only 10 minutes. Very smooth as usual for all Mac OS and all programs/data remain intact, without need to reformat or reinstall.

Promotion Lunch at Zaffran Indian Restaurant

Today we went to Zaffran Indian restaurant for a promotion celebration lunch!

It was my first time going there and the food is really very tasty. This chicken is spicy and tender.

The food here is really very delicious. Highly recommended. :)

Hot Tomato Cafe & Grill

It had been very long since we ate at Hot Tomato. The good thing about this place is the food is nice and affordable. I ate medium ribeye steak.

Lunch In

Lunch in as need to fix some urgent stuff but it didn't kill my eating mood as this chicken is tender, juicy and yummy. :P
