Steamed Red Tilapia

Today, I will try steaming red tilapia for breakfast! I have tried black pomfret and grouper - I love them. Wonder how tilapia taste like? Don't you think that its lips seem very red and bruised?

The red tilapia seemed to look more red at the supermarket. I only kept it for 1 day, so I don't think it will become not fresh so fast. I noticed most fish are sold by weight. However, tilapia is sold by piece. It's $3.80 for 1.

Tilapia is also known as St Peter's fish when I ate it in Israel, fried. Today, I had it steamed. I know why people like it fried, as it smells very fishy. To me, I love the fishy smell! And I love to eat it without ginger slice. The red body became brown after steamed, unlike prawns which turn to red from grey when cook.

Notice the top fin opened up after being steamed. Red tilapia is even cheaper than grouper and I'll definitely eat it again. :)
