New App Store for Mac OS X

I just installed the new App Store for OS X. App Store is the place where we can download apps for iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad. Now, even the MacBook and iMac has their own App Store :)

Guess what? I saw the familiar Angry Birds icon! I used to playing Angry Birds using touchscreen, so wonder what's it like to play it on a MacBook. Hee.

Wonder if Mac App Store has the popular Smurf Village? :)

I did a trial on downloading a free app. It functions the same as the App Store for iPhone. The button changed to "Installing" while downloading and to "Installed" after it finished downloading and installing.

I wondered where was my new app? The first place I thought of was the "Applications" directory and it was there.

For those apps that auto-install onto the Dock, it will have the same progress bar as the iPhone.

There is already 1 million apps download in the first day! I contributed 3 free ones.
