Stir-fry Spinach with Garlic

We found that stir-fry spinach is very easy to cook. Almost impossible to go wrong with this vegetable. :)

Our Luggages

Our 2 cabin-sized luggage and a transparent umbrella outside the hotel. Cabin-sized luggage is good - no need to wait irritatingly for the check-in luggage to come out of the plane, which we felt take too long.

When will MacBook Air be refreshed?

While everyone is craving for iPad, it seems that I'm the only weird one who is waiting for MacBook Air to get refreshed to replace my aging Mac notebook. I know that a MacBook's spec will be better than a MacBook Air. But somehow, I love MacBook Air design very much. I'll buy when it get updated with newer hardware. 

Update: New MacBook Air is launched on 20 October 2010.

Corn Muffins

My dear made corn muffins. We gave some to my parents and they said the muffins were nice! Dear likes Kenny Rogers' corn muffins a lot, so she is trying to make some at home. :)

Israel National Anthem

Just heard the familiar national anthem of Israel at YOG track and field competition over the TV 920pm just now! Nice! Trying to recall how it is sung. I love this song very much! :)

Asahiyama Zoo, Hokkaido

In all our overseas vacation, we have never been to any zoo. We went to the Asahiyama Zoo, supposed to be a very good zoo. Well, when we were there, having the Singapore Zoo as our benchmark, I think the Asahiyama Zoo needs to improve a lot.

 We had to queue very long just to see the penguins.

The penguin aquarium is the same as our Sentosa Underwater World. The tube aquarium with the travellator, get it? Ya, queued so long under the hot sun, just to see this?! I think I prefer our Underwater World, not many  people and nicer.

What are they doing? LOL

 The polar bear place is worse! Queued for even longer.

 And the place is not impressive. Visitors get to pop their heads out to look at the polar bear up close.

Rainy Days in Hokkaido Hotel

It was rainy, so we hid in the hotel for a while.

Everything is in Jap, even the remote control. LOL

Nothing to do, so I took photo of this water flask. This brand of flask is also imported into Singapore.

Feeling slightly heaty, so I took a pill. But we are thankful to God that we didn't fall sick at all!

Stolen Wheel

A bike with a stolen wheel. The bicycle was chained up but the wheel was missing. I guess the thief didn't manage to steal the entire bicycle, so probably he/she stole the wheel! There is a Chinese proverb: the thief cannot steal the chicken so he grabs a handful of rice instead. Recently there has been quite a lot of news about riding bicycle on roads and pedestrian pavements...
