Toilet in Singapore

If you are here to visit Singapore, keep a look out on the toilet walls. Some of the toilets here have very strange writings on the walls.

Do you love clouds?

I think clouds are one of the most beautiful creation of God. Elegant, simple, amazing to look at...

Different formation of the clouds let our imaginations run wild with unlimited possibilities.

The Floating Platform

This year National Day Parade (NDP) will be held at the Padang. Talking about NDP, all my ballot for the tickets for many years all didn't have any fruits. Meaning, I don't have a chance to view the NDP at all "live".

Washing my old Deuter bag

This Deuter bag is nearly 10 years old I think. The lighter colour part of it is bright white. But now, it is greyish or brownish. I threw it inside the washing machine and wonder if it can be machine-cleaned?

Alice in Wonderland

I watched "Alice in Wonderland" DVD movie. Found the story interesting. Whenever I see those fantasy stories, I will wonder if there is another side of the message. Found something on the Internet.

I also watched "The Book of Eli". It was about a guy called Eli who believed that he was being led by God to preserve the last copy of KJV Bible and needed to protect it to send to the printing company. I think the period is after Armaggedon where all copies of the Bible were destroyed except for the one Eli was holding. And people were killing people just to grab hold of this last Bible.

This reminds me that in today's society, it is the direct opposite. People just don't want to read the Bible and treat it as "just another book", or not important, or no longer valid today, or they are smart and don't need the Bible.

Maybe when there is no more Bible in the last days, then people will treasure it?

Traditional Bread

Have you eaten this type of traditional bread? :)

I wonder will this type of traditional bread disappear in 10-20 years' time?

Nai Bai Vegetables

Nai Bai vegetable in our kitchen. This is an extra which we couldn't finish. Think about our life. How many things in our lives, we have more than one? And we can only use one at a time? Eg, We have lots of smilar shoes, but we can only wear 1 pair at 1 time.

I have lots of duplicated items which I have extra for "just in case" sack. Let's make full use of my existing resources and stop buying and only buy when the current ones break down. At most have 2, one as backup. Never keep stocks of lots of items.
