Fridge
Few days ago, there was a TV programme where Singaporean kids went to a remote village in China with large grassland. The living condition of the locals are really poor, even things like tap and TV are luxury. I didn't see any refrigerator, I am wondering if the locals have or not. In terms of basic infras and facilities, we really have much more than needed!
- cut down on waste such as food, papers, electricity, water, money, services
- stop buying things for the sack of satisfying the pleasure
Talking and blogging is cheap, can I really do it?

Dying Clothes Dryer
Our clothes dryer of 6 years is struggling to stay alive. When we turn on, it usually will start immediately. These days, we need to wait for 5 minutes before it starts spinning. In addition, it seems to be spinning a bit less strongly.
Avatar Prawns
Have you ever seen blue colour prawns? For me, I only seen grey, dark grey, white, slightly yellowish, dark colour prawns. Blue colour reminds me of the movie Avatar!
iBooks
Downloaded this free iBooks apps. There are a lot of free books such as classic! I think my reading for fictions have been rekindled!
Low Memory in iPhone 3GS with iOS 4
I used iPhone 3GS on iPhone OS 3 for nearly a year, never encountered a low memory issue. Today, I encountered one in iOS 4 on iPhone 3GS. I checked the number of apps I opened 20 apps. But after I closed iToday and reopened, it was OK. Never encounter again. Anyone else too?
River Taxi boat ride
Though the river taxi boat ride is there for many years, I have never taken it before! One day, I want to try it and I believe the view from the boat will be breathtaking. :)
Oh, can you see the tiny boat on the right-hand side? :P

Heavy Rain on 25 June 2010
Today, heavy rains again! Some time back, the massive rains in Orchard had caused flooding. Rain drops on windows are actually very beautiful. Natural art!

Sweet Girl
We saw a very sweet little girl at the waterfront few weeks ago. It's a pity that this photo didn't catch her eye contact.

Aquarium
An aquarium in Suntec City shopping mall! I used to keep fish, even marine fish, when I was a kid. Remember we have to maintain the pH, saline level, temperature and other components. And it's amazing how balance is the natural aquarium - the oceans! Wonder of Creation!
This fish has very large eyes!

Updated iOS4 on iPhone 3GS
This is the last time I'm going to see my iPhone OS 3 GUI!
After upgraded, the default wallpaper automatically appears. I simply love the folder option. This is a much needed option for people who have lots of apps who need categorisation. The folder function is very natural. I organised all my games into 3 folders. And the 3 folders all having the same name "Games".
The speed of loading apps seem significantly faster! (Every time I upgraded my Mac OS X on my desktop and notebook, without reformat, there is speed improvement. So, I shouldn't be surprised that iOS4 is speedier, right?)

Marina Bay Sands
Another beautiful view of the Marina Bay Sands Hotel. We have yet to go up the SkyPark which I believe will be very scenic!

Tombstone
This is a scheduled post. Meaning it will automatically be shown in Blogspot on 21 June 2010. So, people who are reading my blog right now will not know if I am still alive! No one knows the future. No one can know the exact date and time he will die. I finished watching The Time Traveller's Wife. A nice movie based on a novel. (I believe the novel should be nicer.) There is one last scene where the guy travelled into the future and saw the moment when he will die. After knowing that, he and his family feeling suddenly dropped into bottom of the moodiness.
I wonder when we know the exact date our battery will run out, how will we feel? We'll totally lost the mood to want to work - since there is nothing to look forward to. People will think "why should we work if we know that by next week we are going to die?"
Treasure each day with the people around you. Share the Gospel. We never know when we going to leave the place.

Patched my Mac to OS X 10.6.4
Updated both my Mac to 10.6.4 and in this version, the anti-malware actually got updated too. Got some interesting article about malware in Mac here http://www.sophos.com/blogs/gc/g/2010/06/18/apple-secretly-updates
Badminton
Today we had lots of fun playing badminton below our flat. Exercise and sweating profusely makes me feel good! Playing badminton is convenient as all we need to do is just take our rackets and shuttle cock and go downstairs. Prefer this to running. I think one of the reasons why I have been delaying running for years is because running is boring.

LRT Track
Inside an LRT train, going towards Sengkang central. Sengkang LRT system is pretty good. So far, it's reliable. However, for a newbie, taking LRT train here can be tricky as we have different track (or loop). Yellow colour for east side and red for west side. People who are unfamiliar will just hop onto the LRT train, assuming it goes only 1 direction.
We can walk from the MRT station or take LRT if we are lazy to walk.

Radio on iPhone - good way to make full use of data plan
I think most people cannot finish their 12GB data plan on their iPhone. I think one good way is to listen to radio!

My Birthday Present - Amazingly Thin and Tough Wallet
Guess what my wife bought me for birthday?
It looks like an envelope.
A wallet?
It is called Mighty Wallet, made from strong microfibre material called Tyvek, an industry strength material.
It is tear and water resistant. And recyclable.
I love things that are extremely thin like Bible air, MacBook Air, iPod Touch. Now, It is amazingly thin! I have a wallet air!
