Reunion Dinner Left Over Ingredients
After our Chinese New Year reunion dinner (steamboat), we still have quite a substantial amount of ingredients like beef, sausage, corn... So, we used them for cooking noodle and fried rice. :)

Dark Soya Sauce Chicken
Dark soya sauce chicken cooked by my dear is definitely my number one favourite dish! The chicken meat is tenderly cooked. It is impossible to eat such a nice dark soya sauce chicken in foodcourt.
Japanese Dried Scallop
Japanese dried scallop. It is the adductor muscle of a clam. From a Google search, its health benefit includes ability to stop cough! We'll be putting a few pieces of the dried scallops into the watercress soup and rice. It will also be used in stir fry bean sprouts.
Rubbish
I saw many things being thrown away. On a cursory look, these items seemed to be in good working condition. I think Singaporeans are really fortunate. We threw away things not because the things are spoilt. But because we got new items.
I was guilty of consumerism of buying new things before old ones are beyond economic repair.
Also, look in your house, how many of the things you own have more than one? Also how many of the things you own are redundant?

Lou Hei (Yu Sheng) ingredients
During Chinese New Year, you will see Lou hei ingredients being sold at a coffeeshop in the neighbourhood. We had ours some time back.
After School
When I was in primary school, I always had the feeling of longing to go home, especially if it was afternoon session. (I think schools in Singapore these days are all single session.... so you might not know what is morning and after sessions.)
I remembered that when it was around 6pm, the longing started. My primary school was just besides my flat and I rushed home to watch the 6.30 p.m. cartoon while having my dinner in front of the TV set. When I grew up, I don't like to watch TV programmes anymore (I only watch DVD movies today).
Primary school was very fun - we had many games which compared to today's was low tech.
Flat Painting - Old VS New Colours
Sengkang flats are in the midst of being painted with a new colour. The flats on the left-hand side are clothed with the old colour of dark green whereas the bright orange is colour of the new paint.

Pigeon sitting on her egg
Because I saw this pigeon sitting on her egg daily, I went to read up how long does pigeon's egg hatch on Google. It is around 14-17 days. As this nest is very near human activities, I wonder how long can the nest and egg go undisturbed? Worse still, it is very near schools, meaning, if there are naughty students, they might do something funny to her nest.
Dad
Before retirement, my dad was a home electronic appliance technician. He carried a gigantic luggage when he went from house to house to repair faulty television set, VCR and radio. He always had a test-pen in the pocket of his short-sleeve - that was his signature look of a technician.
Looking at this photo, I knew how much he had aged.
Trees
I wanted to create an effect that the top left side is bright and the rest of the photo is dark. But I can't seem to get it...
Omron Blood Pressure Monitor
My parents gave me this Omron sphygmomanometer-cum-heart rate monitor. Instructions were very easy to follow. My systolic blood pressure is 113, diastole is 73 and heart rate is 78. Normal. Should start exercising! It's already end of second month of the new year.

Pigeon's Nest
That day, we saw a spotted pigeon in the nest in the train station. Today, we saw another one. This one is a black colour one. So which one is the father and which one is the mother?
Pigeon we spotted today.
Pigeon we spotted few days ago.
New Year decorations in HarbourFront Centre
iPad
Does it look like Apple iPad?
I want an iPad as I always wanted a mobile internet device (MID) - to be able to plug into the matrix any time, any where.
By the way, the thing is actually my Samsung monitor. Hee.

Eden BP Church
I am really thankful for the grace of God Who has led me to a church with sound foundation that follow the Holy Bible faithfully!
Here are some of the photos of our new church which we started using recently.
An Egg is Hatched!
Remember yesterday I posted a photo of a pigeon sitting in her nest? Tonight, I went to see and guess what I saw? Yes! It's an egg! But where's the mother pigeon?

Sunset
Some sky photos taken at Duxton few weeks ago.
Nice blue sky with interesting cloud formation.
Photographers taking photos of sunset.
Can you see the sun rays penetrating the clouds?
It's my first time taking such photo!
Pigeon's Nest at Train Station
Spotted a pigeon's nest at the train station. I thought bird usually builds its nest on tree.
Click on photo to see full resolution.
Close-up of the pigeon's nest. Is she hatching the egg? It's my first time seeing a bird in her nest in an uncaged environment.
Lots of Sengkang Cat Photos
