Cyber gaming @ Funan

Cyber gaming competition at Funan Digital Life Mall.  Remind me that I haven't been playing games for many years! :P

My dear loves to play games on her iPod Touch.  It definitely looks cool to play with gadget in the mall of the gadgets. Ha!

This year is the year of the Tiger, according to the lunar calendar....so, this robotic tiger, which is also part of the word 春 ("Chun") which means the season spring in Chinese.

Large Moon

Today, at 8PM, the moon is huge! Photos were taken using ISO6400.

Can you see the moon beside the crane? Yes, the detailed is overexposed due to the brightness of the moon. Metering is matrix, so an average of the entire photo is read.

OK, let me try to meter on the moon itself. As I dun have a 1000mm zoom, this is the best I can take. Hee. By metering on the moon, you can see the details of the moon surface.

Without a 1000mm zoom, I will use digital zoom in Photoshop, i.e. crop! Can see the moon surface.

Re-painting the apartment

The re-painting of the flats in Sengkang areas has started! Will it complete in time for Lunar New Year?

Can you see the painters?

No? Ok...zoom in. That's the maximum I can zoom. It is definitely a difficult, tiring and risky job.

I like composition with lots of blank spaces.

Crow that looks like a US stealth fighter plane

I took a photo of a crow at Chinese Garden. I think it looks like the US stealth fighter plane!

Last installment of Little Guilin photos

Posting the remaining photos of Little Guilin park.

Science Park

Science Park is a research, development and technologies hub in Singapore. There are three of these hubs namely Science Park I, II and III.

These photos are taken in Science Park I.

I am wondering if my photos will convince you that Science Park is a good place to work? :)

A new building, recently completed in late 2009.

A technologies hub of course comes with free wireless!

If you know science, you should recongnise these names.

Isn't the cafe nice? With large full length glass.

Cute little cat also comes to Science Park!

It even has Starbucks Coffee.

Science Hub - training rooms on the left, bakery on the right, cafe in the middle and restaurants on second level.

Beautiful building with nice bluey sky.

Nice landscaping for the workers too.

Entrance to Science Hub.

Reflection of clouds on nice bluey glass of new building.

Despite the busy schedule, I hope workers will pause to appreciate beautiful flowers and plants.

Trees are everywhere.

Science Park is easily accessible via public transport. Bus number 92.

Curious cat looking at me.

Besides orange, there are also yellow flowers there.

Glassy building looks hi-tech.

Another side of Science Hub.

Science Park even has a swimming pool!

Can you see the moon?

Cafe. There is also a gym for you to work out.

Tree is everywhere. A stroll around here in the evening is pretty relaxing.

Beautiful angle of 2 buildings with bluey sky in between.

Rooms for trainings and workshops.

After a hard day's work, you can also rent DVD movies to relax.

Large pillars...

List of facilities found here. There is also a Korean restaurant.

So, are you interested to work in Science Park now? :)

Green Leaves

Is this liu shu? The only tree that has leaves hanging downwards.

In the past few posts, I have used portrait orientation for Little Guilin park. I think this landscape orientation gives the look a totally different feeling.
